آپ تقریباً تیس سال تک جامع مسجد للپورہ، بیروہ کے امام رہے۔ اس سے قبل آپ نے امرتسر، لاہور، ہارود اور سورچ خان میں تقریباً آٹھ سال امامت کے فرائض انجام دیے۔آپ کے زیرِ تربیت سینکڑوں طلبہ نے آپ سے قرآنِ مجید مکمل کیا اور حفظ کی سعادت حاصل کی۔ آپ ایک جلیل القدر صوفی بزرگ بھی تھے، جنہوں نے اپنی پوری زندگی اصلاحِ نفس اور روحانی تربیت کے لیے وقف کر دی۔ وادیٔ کشمیر بھر میں ہزاروں مریدین نے آپ سے فیض حاصل کیا اور آپ کی صحبت سے مستفید ہوئے۔ آپ کے پیر و مرشد حضرت سید میرک شاہ کاشانیؒ تھے، جن سے آپ نے روحانی فیض اور تربیت حاصل کی۔

He served as the Imam of Jamia Masjid Lalpora, Beerwah for almost thirty years. Prior to this, he remained the Imam at Amritsar, Lahore, Harud, and Suruch Khan for nearly eight years. Hundreds of students completed the recitation and memorization of the Holy Qur’an under his guidance. He was also a renowned Sufi saint, who dedicated his life to spiritual reform and guidance. Thousands of murīds (disciples) across the entire Kashmir Valley benefited from his spiritual training and teachings. His spiritual mentor (Pir-o-Murshid) was Syed Meerak Shah Kashani (RA), from whom he received spiritual guidance and blessings.
